 Electromedical engineering course in Bangladesh:

As you know, the first Department of Electro-Medical Technology in Bangladesh was started in 2005 under the Board of Technical Education.  In addition to government polytechnics, there are opportunities to study electro-medical engineering at ISTT and several private institutions in Bangladesh.  All the students who have passed from government and private are working.  There is a huge demand for electro-medical engineers in all government medical college hospitals, all district hospitals and all upazila hospitals in Bangladesh.  At present, medical equipment of public and private hospitals is being wasted due to lack of skilled manpower.  Maintenance of instruments requires skilled and experienced electro-medical engineers.

Electromedical engineering course details:

The Diploma in Electro Medical Engineering is valid for 4 years and lasts for 8 semesters.  Each semester is valid for 6 months.  Examinations are conducted under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
